The magic of nature sounds

Listening to the forest

Listening to the forest

If you stop in the forest and listen to it, you can hear that it is very much alive. It changes from day to day, so listening to its sounds is surely a special experience that will not leave you indifferent, quite the opposite. It will help you enter the magical world of listening to the sounds of nature and make you more aware of the world you live in.

What do I gain?

A deeper connection with nature

The sounds of nature have incredible power – to soothe, inspire and connect us to our environment on a deeper level. As you listen to and record natural sounds such as rustling leaves, birds singing or the sound of water, you will learn to listen for the subtle sounds that are often overheard in the rush of everyday life.

Learning observation and presence skills

This experience will make you stop and start looking at the world around you with ‘new’ eyes – and ears. Listening to nature improves awareness, but recording requires a great deal of patience, which will train you to be in the here and now.

Positive impacts on well-being

Listening to nature has been shown to reduce stress, improve concentration and foster a sense of inner peace.

Technical know-how and a new perspective

During the experience, you will gain insights into the use of sound recording equipment. Above all, you will get to know nature in a whole new way, deepening your connection to it (and to yourself).

Let creativity know no boundaries

What do I need?

Equipment

Before the start of the workshop, each participant receives a backpack containing all the equipment needed to listen to and record the sounds of the natural environment: a tripod, a recording device, different types of microphones.

At the end of the experience, each participant receives the sounds they have recorded as a gift on a USB stick.
